My name is Austin Dagen.  It doesn't get much simpler than that, does it?  Hmmm.... kind of bland, no?  I'm twenty-three (for the moment, at least) and graduated from Shippensburg University in Pennsylvania this past May.  This site was where I was going to try to post my poetry so everyone -- both of you -- who visits could methodically pick them apart.  I decided I'm not going to post any more in the near future until I check out some copyright laws and whatnot... (HA!) no sense taking unnecessary risks with my work, right?  (In two years since I first wrote that, I have yet to look anything up. *grin*)  I have kept the three that I've already posted here under the "more poems" link below.  See if you like them.... it would surprise me too *wink.*  I'm going to be looking for publishing work in the next few months, but I suppose I'll need a car first... or as I like to think of them, "gasoline powered death traps."  Well, they're more like money pits... in either case, the only good aspect about them is that they allow me to get from point A to point C while passing point B at somewhat reasonable speeds.  Don't tell my insurance.
